Action page

An action page on Hyves is an environment on which you can communicate your campaign. This campaign can be in the form of an interactive game in which the Hyver can challenge his friends, a showcase of your product, a quiz or a sample and voting action.

The action page also gives you the opportunity to use the Hyvers personal information such as his profile picture, name, age and home address. All this information can be retrieved using our Hyves-API.

For an action page you can think of the following functionalities:

  • A pre-filled form (order/request/join)
  • Possibility to opt-in and enrich your database
  • Loading of the personal information of the Hyver (profile picture, name)
  • Installing a Branded Pimp
  • Showing pictures and videos
  • Redirecting the Hyver to a branded Hyve, spot or company profile to recruit new members
  • Tell a Friend module
  • But of course we challenge you to to create innovative action pages

Gadgets

A Gadget is an interactive application which a Hyver can install on his profile. This Gadget can be an enrichment of your campaign concept or could simply be a game which the Hyver can play against his friends.

Whenever you want to offer a Gadget, think of the following: “Why would a Hyver place this Gadget on his profile?”. Each Gadget should have an added value for the Hyver. Gadgets which challenge the Hyver to compete with his friend, or have an added value to his profile will be promoted through word of mouth. In short: Think about the functionalities of your Gadget!

Branded Pimp

A Pimp is a skin for a Hyves Profile which the user can install with one single click. You can use a Branded Pimp as part of your campaign, to quickly promote your brand on the Hyvers profile.

Each Branded Pimp has an interactive header which you can use to redirect a Hyver to your website or your Action page. You can also use this header to communicate a special message (e.g. “Hi Tom! Would you like to try our product and compete for our amazing prices?”)

Tell-a-friend

With a Tell-a-friend functionality you can use the most powerful tool of a social network: word of mouth. You can integrate a Tell-a-friend as part of your campaign or place the Tell-a-friend in your Gadget. With this functionality you can create an easy way for the Hyver to promote your campaign! A logged in Hyver always has access to his address book and with just a few clicks he can send a message to his friends.
